The Botha Mahasu Devta temple of Bulhar village becomes famous and well known in entire Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh. After holy darshan of Mahasu Maharaj at Hanol, one can make darshan of Botha Mahasu at Bulhar. Apart from the two temples, temples of Mahasu Devta have also been built in Jaunsar Bawar of Dehradun i.e. at Bisoi, Lakhwad and lakhswar.
Chakrata is a beautiful and spectacular place for tourists. There are also places rich in natural beauty and attraction around Chakrata. Tiger falls is one of the famous tourist destination merely 10 KM is away from Chakrata and famous Deovan Forest is at a distance of 15KM from Chakrata.
Moila is a full of natural beauty which is surrounded by pine trees and gives a paradise like feeling to the tourists. This is one of the best picnic spots in this area. However, there is lack of drinking water. Bulhar is 8 km away from Moila and the entire distance is to cover on foot only. Moila is on the way to Bulhar from Chakrata and can be reached while moving towards Bulhar. Moila is at a distance of almost 7 km (distance of 2 km is to covered on foot) from Lokhandi, which is 22 km away from Chakrata.
In the Budher Range, Budher surrouned by Deodar trees, is a beautiful place to visit, where a well furnished Guest house of Forest department is available for stay. It is at a distance of 3 KM from Lokhandi. In this Budher range, tourist place Moila is situated at a distance of 3KM. Thova surrounded by Deodar trees, is almost 3 KM on foot and Temple of Mahasu Devta Bulhar is only 7 KM away.

Byar Odar Caves are a beautiful place on the way to Bulhar from Kanasar. Byar Odar Caves are an amazing cave in which many antique stone scultpures can be seen. It cannot be said that how old these sculptures of Byar Odar are, which is yet to be ascertained. It can be reached while going to Bulhar via Koti. It is at a distance of 5 KM from Goracha village (Upload photo of Byar Odar). From Byar Odar return road to Gorchha village is 5 km and from there Bulhar Temple is only 15 km away.
At Bulhar village, the magnificience of Mahasu Devta Temple can be seen which is constructed in the style of architecture of ancient and modern temple and mix of HImachali, Pahari and Buddisht architecture. There is temple of Devi (Jaga) having statues of nine forms of goddesses Durga around the circle and statue of Lord Bhairon also have been enshrined. During the Navratra, one can worship the nine forms of goddess Durga, which are enshrined in the same order on which goddess is being worshipped from the first day and so on. Now, a grand 22 ft tall statue of Lord Mahadev Shiva, the God of All Gods and Nandi are been under construction in the temple premises. The construction of the statue is expected to be completed by the festival of Shivaratri 2017. Shivlinga made of marble stone will also be enshrined along with the statue of Lord Shiva.
